The Wyngate Senior Living Community is located in Weirton, WV, offering a continuum of care to our residents, from independent living cottages to assisted living apartments.

The Inn at Wyngate is a 60 private apartment assisted living community offering health care and assistance for those who can no longer live at home alone in a homelike setting. The Inn provides nurses and resident assistants around the clock to provide assistance or, if needed, intense healthcare to our residence with such things as medication administration, bathing, dressing, eating and transportation to and from medical appointments and errands.

At The Inn, we can provide as little or as much assistance as our residents need to lead a quality, dignified life. We promote the independence of each of our residence, while at the same time caring for their individual needs.

Each apartment is installed with an emergency call system directly connected to our nursing staff to notify them if assistance is needed. Each apartment also includes a kitchenette complete with microwave and refrigerator for convenience and a large private handicap accessible bathroom.

Hospitality is a word seldom used in senior living communities, such as nursing homes. But while The Inn can provide much the same care as a nursing home, we do it in a manner that is both customer service and hospitality driven.

The Cottages at Wyngate offer an independent living option for those who do not necessarily need health care, but enjoy the comfort and security of maintenance free living and knowing that help, if needed, is nearby at The Inn. The 10 independent living cottages each come equipped with two bedrooms, 1 _ baths, one car garage, washer and dryer hookup and a patio for summertime use.

Cottage residents enjoy additional amenities and services, including 20 home cooked meals per month delivered to their home, twice a month house keeping, monthly nurse checks, the security of an emergency call system and priority admission to The Inn at Wyngate assisted living community, should they ever have the need. All Cottage residents are also invited to attend the different options of activities, entertainment and the any number of festivals and celebrations we have every year at The Inn. In addition, lawn care, snow removal, electric and other essential utilities are provided free for all cottage residents.

We have a belief system at Wyngate that places us even farther ahead of other senior care options available in the area. We believe life, even as we grow old, should be fun, entertaining and dignified.
